I'm a software engineer who specializes in web application design and development
I've been writing code since I was a teenager, and was fortunate enough to know exactly what I wanted to do in life. I love learning about the web, software engineering and computer science. Lately I've been experimenting in integrating AI tools into my development workflow.
I appreciate straightforward content organization, uncluttered design elements, and meaningful user interactions.
I find joy in crafting code from the ground up, and take pleasure in translating concepts into tangible experiences.
I ensure smooth implementation and optimal performance through seamless code deployment.
I've had the pleasure of working for some great companies throughout my career. I also spent 10 years in college & university, obtaining four STEM degrees
I worked as a senior frontend engineer for the content and product teams. I was hired to build content authoring tools to scale the content platform, as well as create UI assets that were to be used on the sales platform. Having a lot more autonomy as a senior engineer, I was able to own a few full stack projects, from design to deployment.
I worked as a feature developer on the web platform team as part of the Dealer Inspire brand. My primary responsibility was maintaining and enhancing the inventory display system, which was the flagship feature of the platform. Additionally I helped scale the platform by implementing integrations to support the Ford and Toyota brands.
I worked as a senior web developer on the enterprise systems & operations team. I served as the SME in helping transition the university to using WordPress for 600+ sites, and created the university theme from scratch - which is still in use today. Apart from improving my development skills, I learned project management and how to coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
I worked as a javascript developer on the research and development team, building some cool R&D tools and CRM dashboards. Occasionally I helped the production team with site and feature builds and the support team with break/fix issues on larger clients. I was also responsible for extending the functionality of our in-house admin platform.
I've had the opportunity to provide my engineering skills to several businesses to help them implement web based solutions, here are a few:

There aren't enough hours in the day to build every idea that comes to mind, but I find time every now and again to work on something cool
With the release of Next 13, I took the opportunity to redesign my portfolio, using neondb on the backend.
Full stack home organization application used to manage the tediousness of daily living. Currently in development.
Full stack application that uses AI tools to generate character stats, images and narrate a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Currently in development.
I'm open to collaborations, projects and career opportunities
